This is actually our most popular tub to shower conversion. We start by using a lifetime warranty Onyx Collection shower base with a high, medium, or low threshold. Then we use rubber on the studs for a full vapor barrier with tile backer board the way it was designed to be used, no paint waterproofing here. Then install tiled surrounds with our waterproof grout technology. We install storage niches in the walls to create more space and storage. The location of all the plumbing and accessories including shower seats are entirely up to you. But don’t worry, if you are not sure where you want your accessories we will give you choices. The shower base includes a lifetime warranty and ACR Kitchen and Bath will stand by all the plumbing, tile and workmanship for 10 years.
